Paul’s encouragement to Timothy in 2 Timothy 1:5-11 reminds us to rekindle the gifts God has placed within us. The faith Timothy inherited from his grandmother Lois and mother Eunice is a testament to God’s faithfulness across generations. Just as Timothy was called to fan his gift into flame, so are we, for God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power, love, and self-control.

In 2 Timothy, we see the beautiful example of Onesiphorus, who refreshed and encouraged Paul during his imprisonment. His kindness reminds us of the importance of uplifting one another in Christ, especially in seasons of hardship.

Fear can feel overwhelming, consuming every thought and holding you back from God’s purpose for your life. But Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us to exchange anxiety for peace through prayer and thanksgiving. When fear arises, lean into God’s promises and declare His truth over your life.

Daniel 12:1-3 calls us to a life of eternal impact, urging us to lead others to righteousness and shine like stars forever. True righteousness is more than personal obedience—it’s about transforming lives through discipleship and living as a reflection of Christ.

In the hustle and bustle of life, it’s easy to focus on what we lack or desire. But this week, let’s shift our mindset to one simple, transformative truth: God is worthy of our praise, not for what He can give us, but for who He is. Psalm 111 reminds us of His greatness, faithfulness, and the splendor of His works.
Take time this week to intentionally seek Him. Pray with a heart of gratitude, sing His praises throughout your day, and meditate on His goodness. Let your spirit rest in the beauty of knowing Him—because knowing Him is the greatest gift of all.
